Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) along with Intellectual Disabilities may display a wide range of abilities, strengths, and levels of functioning. While many of these children can be well cared for in community and home settings, there are a subset of this population that cannot.  Some children require concentrated behavioral treatment in a setting with more intensive wraparound services.  Due to the intensity and frequency of self-injury or aggressive behavior, these children and their families are in crisis and are in need of a safe place to call home and receive exactly the services they need.

Hope intends to open one home to serve this underserved population of children.  This High Acuity Residential Treatment Program will use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to help these children reduce unsafe behaviors while simultaneously teaching them skills to live as independently and safely as possible.
